CRIME update for July 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the New Lenton Police beat area during the month of July.
Burglaries residential = 2 14/07 Allington Avenue – Male suspect has entered property as a trespasser with no intention to steal, identified and subsequently released. 20/07 Willoughby Avenue – Entry gained via open kitchen window, male suspect identified and subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Criminal damage = 2 21/07 Lenton Recreation Ground – Pavilion vandalised, shutters ripped off the doors and windows smashed, damage to lock on top gate. 24/07 Park Road – Male suspect has kicked passenger side door of vehicle causing a dent.
Theft of motor vehicle = 2 16/07 Church Street – Motorbike stolen from insecure car park. 16/07 Park Street – At 11:45pm vehicle stolen from off the street without keys.
Theft from vehicle = 3 Between 15/07 and 16/07 Gloucester Avenue – Front nearside window smashed, coin purse taken from centre console stolen. 18/07 Park Road – Entry gained with money, bank cards, driving license and passport stolen from within. 28/07 Lenton Boulevard – Whilst unloading items from vehicle, vehicle was momentarily left insecure and unattended, black Nike backpack containing laptop, wallet, keys, mobile phone, headphone and charges stolen.
